Adobe has recently announced a series of new and amazing updates for Illustrator, and the Dimension Tool is one of its additions. This Dimension Tool helps users make accurate measurements and plot dimensions in terms of distance, angle, and radius in their work of art. The tool has basically been curated specially for designers who work on projects such as product packaging, interior design, and fashion- where precise and correct measurements are vital. The tool was previously launched in beta in December and became an overnight success among testers. The dimension tool is now available for everyone having access to Adobe Illustrator. It is a user-friendly tool that can streamline manual tasks such as labeling the dimensions of product designs. With Dimension Tool, users can seamlessly plot distances, angles, and radius in their projects as well as scale or adjust the size of dimensions of their art as per their needs or preferences, thereby simplifying the process of designing. The dimension tool also lets you customize the settings of the dimensions; for example, you can pick your own custom units. Furthermore, the tool allows customers to adjust the positions of the dimensions that they plot on their designs with the option to view or hide them to make the design clutter-free with one simple click of a button. Text to Vector Graphics, powered by Firefly, has the brilliant ability to create various types of professional-looking vectors, such as icons, scenes, subjects, or patterns, at the prompt of a text.
This feature was initially unmasked at Adobe MAX; however, the tool has improved a lot since then. Its output now looks much better with enhanced visual quality, and it’s easier than before to control the results. What’s more, users can rate the output and have the option to choose from 12 pattern colors. Initially, there were only five colors available for patterns. There are four varieties of graphics that users can choose from, such as Star as a Live Shape.
